Liz King was born in Florence, SC and began her ballet training at South Carolina Dance Theatre under the direction of Susan Rowe. She then trained at the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities, State Street Ballet, and the University of Utah School of Dance. She also received summer training with the Gelsey Kirkland Academy, Philadelphia Ballet, Carolina Ballet, and more. Liz began her professional career as an apprentice at Eugene Ballet, where she had the privilege to dance repertoire by Toni Pimble, Suzanne Haag, Gerald Arpino, Val Caniparoli, Nicolo Fonte, and Eva Stone. Liz is excited for her first season with Ballet Spartanburg!
